Why We Started BoonLife: A Blessing We All Deserve

The thought behind why ‘Boonlife’ was chosen as the brand name is simple. Life itself should be treated as a boon, and whatever falls short in treating it as one, we must try to fulfil that void. Food, being the most integral part of our being, is the biggest boon. Let’s try to dissect the role it plays. Our body is mechanized in such a manner that food is the main fuel that runs it.


Food That Fuels—and Nourishes

Now, what if this fuel itself is not doing its main function? It does fill the tank but doesn’t oil it, nourish it, or, more importantly, pamper it. For it to be a blessing, the right kind of fuel needs to be chosen.

This was the exact thought that kept circling in my mind while working alongside my mother in her homegrown venture, Dhanashree Gruhaudyog. Watching her work with traditional recipes, clean ingredients, and age-old kitchen hacks planted something deeper in me. I began to wonder: Can we bring the goodness of heritage into our modern lives—without the stress or complexity?


Accepting the Now—But Doing Better

The idea behind Boonlife is not to preach, but to accept what modern lifestyle is all about. We don’t have the same clean environment or cleaner food that our grandparents enjoyed. We cannot change what modern life, its demands, or its challenges are. But we can surely make it better—by filling up those nutritional voids.


We cannot stop going to work, socializing, or meeting the demands of achieving a perfect work-life balance, nor can we ignore the pressure it puts on our bodies. Fatigue, headaches, and back pain being the least serious—hormonal imbalances, insomnia, early blood pressure issues, and a barrage of diseases hover over us at every stage of life. Let’s try to push them ahead as much as possible.


While designing the products at Boonlife, we focused on two important aspects—addressing pressing concerns across all age groups, and ensuring the convenience of adding this simple habit to our daily rituals. We truly believed it had to be simple—something we could slide into our bags, eat between meetings, while rushing to the office, or even with one hand while working on those extensive reports.


Not to brag about the clean ingredients, but there were real challenges in formulating these products. Still, we were unshakeable about not using a single additive! There wasn’t even a discussion—we just had to find a solution, and we did! All the products at Boonlife are incredibly close to our hearts, genuine, and we truly look forward to making a mark in your lives through them.


Tackling the “Taboo” Topics, Head On

Addressing issues like PCOD and irregular periods was considered bold by some in the beginning, but we believed it to be the need of the hour. A good night’s sleep, the needs of a sports-playing teen, or a new working mother struggling with weaning—we felt all of these were real, urgent issues that needed to be addressed.

So we embraced it. And we’re so proud of it.

BoonLife is here to fill in the gaps that modern living has created.
